I've never been a fan of Martin Murray. Always thought he was fairly average. I remember saying he was a bum before the Sturm fight. He's better than I thought but still just nothing special.

The Channel 5 TV ratings show how little anyone in the UK cares about Martin Murray.

Murray is not a "bum" but he isnt anything special either. That's why I don't think he'll do any better at 168. The best in that weight will beat him too.

He has some good money fights at 168- froch, degale, groves are all domestic rivals, plus ward, chavez, dirrells... Also has abraham n Stieglitz, possibly sturm rematch...

They don't want him, Murray doesn't have much pull in the UK which is why he has always had to go on the road. A good move for him would be to sign with Matchroom to increase his profile.

You know what would do wonders for Golovkin's resume? If Golovkin beat a couple top 10 super middleweights.

It would do wonders for Cotto, Quillin or Andy Lee's resume if one of them beat GGG.

I like Murray , he's a tough solid fighter with a lot of heart . I felt he would go the distance with GGG but fell a bit short . In my opinion you can make a case that he beat Marvilla , the real Marvilla that is , not the phony one who cashed out and threw the fight against Cotto .

I think he will have success he just needs to work on his POWER at that weight. He's not a big puncher at middle
