Only a closet racist would begin to let his mind wonder into racist shit. I'd just see it as a marketing strategy. We can very well get Mares vs LSC next so it's not really just about matching Latinos and Blacks.
closet racist? ok... lol! Its the internet, if I wanted to be racist I would hide behind my keyboard and do so but thats what punks do and mama didnt raise no punk.

And to answer the last part of your question, how much you wanna bet after Gary Russel wins an ugly/controversial decision over Gonzalez, the winner of Mares vs Santa Cruz suffers the same fate?.. Mark my words.

        So what is your point?
Never said it was a bad thing, & yes i agree boxing has a history of blacks vs latino fighters but typically blacks fight at higher weight classes so its not "as often" as you put it.

It's a style thing more than anything imo, pressure fighter v mover. No casual wants to watch two movers.

hopkins isn't with haymon. the only reason haymon wouldn't want hopkins to fight kovalev is because adonis stevenson had just signed with haymon and they wanted to set that fight (hopkins-stevenson) up on showtime.
