Is Haymon trying to market Blacks vs Latinos?

Im not saying all Haymons fights are blacks vs Latinos but I do see a trend.

It's possible yes but in some cases they are just better matchups. Take thurman vs guerrero. Both of them were on equal footing and it showed. Broner is relevant any to move up to welter so it would be hard to make a fight against another black welter. On the whole it just seems that a lot of haymon's stable happens to be black fighters but in different weight classes

One thing that I would say is that haymon did not want hopkins to fight kovalev, which to some could be considered a white vs black affair. I don't but I know there are some odd ones who would see it that way. Hopkins went against haymon anyway and went for kovalev

Well, Latin Americans and Americans are the primary viewers and audience that the PBC League will reach out to. So yeah, I suppose that would be the smart thing to do.

There's a 90% chance that an American fight will be a black man vs. a Latino man. You don't have to try to make that happen, if you're a boxer in the Americas you'll probably be white, black, or Latino.
