Just thought of a new reality show: "Fair One, Fade One... "

We take of punch of wannabe saggy panters, and put them in the ring against their gang rivals. One on One, no heaters, no dirty kitchen knives just that hands... Mano a Mano. Team Vs Team.

I understand the demographics in boxing, all I am asking is if this is going to be the popular trend? Prior to this the biggest matches (not including Floyd) were always Latino against Latino (Mexican vs. ...) seems like Haymon is taking a page from Mayweathers book and is pitting overmatched Latino fighters against a more talented/athletic black fighters to ignite some racial grudges.

Lets be honest here, Haymon's latino fighters are nothing to brag about. If Guerrero was the best Latino fighter he had to offer than I am good about watching his fights.

Yes, but don king did the same thing when he instigated a race war leading up to the Holmes Cooney fight so he could make more money with the hype and drama, King was a real race baiter

Haymon uses latino fighters because they have the biggest fanbase in boxing. But he does jack all to hype or push them in the mainstream, instead he invests more time with horrible role models like Adrien Broner, he doesn't even really push Danny Garcia, he doesn't get Danny Garcia who is more marketable than Broner any TV interviews, radio interviews, etc.

This why I said Garcia would have been better off with Top rank or Golden boy and HBO. Keith Thurman would also be better off with Golden boy and HBO. Haymon doesn't really push these guys hard enough seems he invests most of his time on Broner.

If so what's the problem? It seems to be the demographic in many of the divisions. Latinos and blacks are always behing big PPV numbers in the US.

Only a closet racist would begin to let his mind wonder into racist shit. I'd just see it as a marketing strategy. We can very well get Mares vs LSC next so it's not really just about matching Latinos and Blacks.

As if Haymon is the first one to try to do that

Why do you think Mayweather fights on Mexican holidays, almost exclusively against Hispanic fighters.
