Answer the question. So you're saying we haven't had quality fights?

Smart move by Haymon, over pay these fighters till he "manages" all the talent in the sport in the long run thus monopolising his position, then fking them over using the UFC payment model. He wins over time adjusting for inflation of course. These fighters are young and don't probably realise that Al's model probably converges to them being in their late 30s and fighting for 100k purses, and not millions like mayweather and pacquiao now.

What Haymon is doing is FANTASTIC for the boxer. His guys make phenomenal money. Maximizing whatever talent they have. It's the fans that are getting the stick. You wait a long time to get real pick-em fights. How long will that formula work? We'll find out!

Like I said, boxing isn't a big enough sport to do what Hymen is trying to do and it will not work....unfortunately. I'm just a h8r doe.

Kathy is correct. Hard to dispute what she's saying.

It won't last 6 months. He's just throwing money into a big hole.

This reminds me of the early 80s in pro wrestling when vince McMahon came along and destroyed the territory system.. All the old promoters were set in their ways and vince blew past them... Sometimes I think Haymon is the vince McMahon of boxing and he is gonna revolutionize and destroy the old school promoters n sanctioning bodies..
