Anyway. I expect Manny to win this fight. This will be his finest hour. What these so called boxers and experts will not admit, is that Manny is one of the greatest fighters, ever. Floyd crossed the line years ago and Manny is pissed. I don't see this kind of fire in Floyd. I think Floyd thinks he is going to "outsmart" Manny. That he can duplicate what the Roided Marquez did. What he doesn't realize is that nobody will fight him as hard as Manny is going to. Maidana's so called meanness cannot match Manny's. He is a true fighter. Floyd is a prize fighter who has been protected from the really SKILLED fighters. Manny is highly skilled at what he does. I think Martinez would've beaten Floyd at 154lb when he called him out as well. Floyd is a punk and a bully. He's a great fighter but there are still question marks to be answered because of his lack of comepetitve fights. Say what you will but Manny resume trumps Floyd's by a long shot. The versatility of his opponents may be the difference in this fight. He is fearless and will go to the moon to fight you. Floyd will not leave Vegas. Smh. He is and has been a cancer to the sport and it's time to embarrass him and give him the beating, he's eluded for far too long.
    Preach it bro

A right hand counter from who... Floyd? If that is all Manny needs to worry about than he's good. Floyd won't out work him. Foot work or hand speed is in Mannys favor. Punching power is also in Manny favor.
I hope Floyd goes in there looking to land one good counter. It's gonna be a long night of hurt for him if he does.

At the end of the day you just have to go in there and fight. Honestly, I give a fighting Pacquiao a better chance over a thinking Pacquiao.

I kinda agree with this post. He'll need a combination strategy to be effective. At times, he needs to use Floyd's reach and arm length against him, by staying outside and making Floyd reach and them jump him. Manny is VERY good at doing this. Secondly, he'll need to also fight Floyd at times. Outthrowing and outlanding him, and them jump back out before Floyd can counter. He is also good at doing this as well. Floyd is in trouble man. Manny doesn't have to just "attack" Floyd to win. He is very smart in the ring as well. Manny has never had trouble with taller fighters or fighters with longer reaches. He is good at controlling distance just like Floyd is.

Have you forgotten that Floyd right hand has stopped the work rate of many offensive fighters over the years? Manny is too small and Floyd is going to show that like he did aganst Marquez. A big skilled fighter beats a smaller skilled fighter. Roach is talking about "a strategy" knowing Manny is not technical.

Is using compubox totals-which is designed to count punches- an effective way to score a fight when the decision was based on rounds won?

For example-If Castillo landed 100 more punches in total by having 5 rounds where he out landed Floyd by a huge margin yet didn't outland him in the other 7 rounds, who really won the fight?

I can't. But what I can show you is that Marquez has a better win @ 147 than does Pacquaio...
