"Pathetic numbers"? Are you serious? This was the most watched boxing card in damn near 20 years. Why the hate? This must be the ***** affect. Where a man goes out and does great things, but people still hate him for, um, I wonder what the reason is for the hate.

That doesnt tell the real story as boxing murdered them in the demo. Any real money in advertising is going to PBS over the other networks.

well of course it's going to get more viewers when it's on NBC network television as opposed to HBO or showtime premium channels. but truthfully does are sad numbers for network television debut.

you just need to think proportionally. how many people have access to NBC?? hundreds of millions, right?? and how many have access to showtime or HBO? 40million?? 3.4million of the hundreds of millions who are able to watch NBC isn't that good. 3.4 million would be good numbers for HBO no doubt because it has about 40million subscribers.

Go read what the heads of NBC sports were saying about the XFL the first few weeks. lol PBC got mediocre numbers at best and are overspending for fighters, production, and promotion.
The XFL was put together by WWF/WWE mogul Vince McMahon. Probably the only people interested in it were the same people who liked that fake ass wrestling crap. Those who didn't like the wrestling circus likely didn't give the XFL the time of day. I didn't. NFL purists hated it too. This boxing venture may have difficulty catching on, but not for the same reasons as the XFL.

I dont know. Im done replying to him. He's already flat out said he hates boxing, which clearly means he wants this to fail. I dont know why the **** he is posting here so much if that's the case. His agenda is clear though and he can't be taken seriously because of it.

Not knocking the performance of PBC's debut, just relaying what was reported.

i don't hate boxing because hate is a strong word and i don't use that in my life. i've lost interest in this sport because of corrupt people like haymon and his reject fans turning it into something that is almost unrecognizable anymore. there is still goodness in this sport like wlad, froch, rigo and pac. but other than that it has become a complete mediocre suck fest poor WWE imitation bottom of the barrel niche fringe loser sport.

What's a Haymon reject? Someone who tried to get a job with Haymon, but was turned down?
