Floyd is bringing "Chop Chop" Corley and Zab Judah, among other southpaws.

Pacquiao throws that split-left (thanks Lee Wylie) and not much else; being hurky jerky outside of actual punch range does nothing.

Corley throws a pretty good left hand, and so does Judah; beyond that, both guys walk into the ring with tons of experience, so the sparring will likely have Floyd working on adjustments to adjustments. You throw in a guy like Errol Spence Jr, for simply the competitiveness of facing a young buck who can fight (Spence fights nothing like Pacquiao tbh) and you've got a tough camp.

Mayweather wasn't going to find another 'Pacquiao' to spar, and Pacquiao wasn't going to find another 'Mayweather' to spar; like he does in anything involving boxing, Floyd has stacked his camp with the best that he could get at whatever the cost.

Shame that Pacquiao's camp couldn't do the same for him.

Dumbest comment of 2015. Everybody and their mother knows Zab only won the 1st 3 or 4 rounds then Mayweather dominated every round after that.

It's ok to hate, just keep it real and give credit where it's due. Can't wait to see Mayweather do a Marquez on Pacquaio and then all you fake boxing fans will hopefully just go away.

That'd like saying that Pacquiao should use any orthodox fighter to train for mayweather. Judah fights nothing like Manny, and at this point,I don't think that zab is 65% of what he used to be. Same can be said for corely,he's way past it in terms of physical prime,so Floyd would be using old slow southpaws to replicate Manny's style. On the other hand,Roach is bringing in young, slick boxers, who utilize the shoulder roll,in order to get a feel of the kind of movement that Floyd might bring.
This way when Floyd is bossing Zab around in sparring, he can pretend that he is beating Pac because they are both southpaws.

I'm thinking the same thing with Zab and Corleys experience they should be able to double up a Jab and throw the straight left.
All the extra bouncing around out of Floyd's wheels house is secondary. It works for big slow guys trying to find Manny but Floyd in the center of the ring, feet planted, he's going to be looking for that straight left ... And. Judah and Corley should be helpful.

Zab is using his experience against Khan to teach Floyd how to battle fast-handed fighters.
