whole point of judah and corley is to get used to punches coming from that stance. of course they cant do what manny does..but thats not the point.

same way with pacquiao, he can find all the "slick" guys with the sholder roll he wants, but none will prepare him for floyds timing, accuracy and defense.

these guys will study each other in round 1.

Floyd has a history of getting whooped by sparring partners
And that has affected his record how?

Man you just like to spew **** and hope it sticks?

Zab will push Floyd exactly how he needs to be pushed. Floyd is bringing out the big guns for this bout.

You guys are supposed to be boxing fans. Can you use your heads?
No shyt he could easily go get a bum ass copy of Manny Pacquiao like Gesta. He obviously isn't lacking for resources, but would a copy of Manny Pacquiao be able to hang with Mayweather for an entire camp scompared to a former world champ like Zab? That's why you bring in a variety of guys that do different things. That's why they have more than one sparring partner.
They're not. They are fans of one fighter which is why their ignorance shows with each post.

That'd like saying that Pacquiao should use any orthodox fighter to train for mayweather. Judah fights nothing like Manny, and at this point,I don't think that zab is 65% of what he used to be. Same can be said for corely,he's way past it in terms of physical prime,so Floyd would be using old slow southpaws to replicate Manny's style. On the other hand,Roach is bringing in young, slick boxers, who utilize the shoulder roll,in order to get a feel of the kind of movement that Floyd might bring.
Zab is 37 years old and a former champion. Mayweather is 38 and a current champion. Zab is not terribly old and is far from just any other southpaw. Would you rather see what you can learn from a seasoned former champion, or a younger, less experienced fighter? As for using 42-22 Corley, I think Floyd is just giving a pal a gig.

                    Might be OK.

Zab had already been sparring with others who fought Manny. So has that experience ........
Zab also has boxing experience and just needs to go a few rounds here and there with headgear and pillow gloves. That is different than expecting Zab to go 12 consistent rounds in a real fight.

This actually works good in Floyds favor cause if I'm not mistaken Zab has a fight coming up in April. So he is getting sparring in with what should be a somewhat in shape and peaking Zab Judah for his April fight.
