Guerrero won the first two rounds in his fight with Floyd

I was going to say....even though Thurman landed more shots, ghost damaged Thurman more than he did Floyd.....and that eye isn't all jacked up from a clash of heads either.

More due to the huge welt on his head than anything. I don't even think Guerrero did enough to decisively win any of those later rounds either.

Thurman was a middleweight? He weighed in at 147lbs, that's all that matters. Most fighters gain about 10lbs or so after weighing in, it's no secret. I've seen light welterweights come into fights at 160lbs+.

Bull****, that's exactly what it's messed up from. Don't be sore about picking the loser on this fight, the only damage done to Thurman was from the initial headbutt. That thing swelled up IMMEDIATELY from the butt.

Not the eye. You could try to argue that a second headbutt did damage to his eye like that. But I didn't see it.

Thurman was fortunate that Guerrero didn't fight him the way he fought Berto. Guerrero only did it occasionally, and somehow Thurman looked halfway the way Berto did after the fight.

I remember when I first watched it I thought Floyd could've been down on the cards after the first few rounds simply due to Floyd being inactive and Guerrero roughing him up a bit on the inside.
You are an idiot for even thinking Floyd lost A round. To be honest I think those stats of Guerrero even landing 100 punches is false, because he barely touched Floyd at all. He was missing by literal millimeters and getting countered with some of the most beautiful matrix moves ever performed by Floyd.

Keith Thurman is the truth, but Floyd right now is still far greater. Guerrero know what's up. If you look at that 8th round Floyd could had stopped Guerrero the way he was punishing the body and head with the right hand, cut Guerrero eyelid that round and everything. Floyd does enough.. No need to do something ******.

Yeah but a near 10 pound weight disparity on fight night is a major factor regardless. Yeah he made the weight which is what matters but the extra force generated due to the weight is a huge plus.

The welt was on the top of the forehead, nothing to do with the eye at all. Thurman did well, did he do better than Floyd did? Ghost himself even said that he had a hard time even touching Mayweather and that he doesn't think that Thurman is ready for him. I'd say that Ghost respects Thurman's abilities but feels that he was more comprehensively beaten by Mayweather and who knows better than the boxers themselves right?
