Thurman win vs Guerrero better than Floyds

Floyd countered Ghost while Thurman was clearly looking to get the KO before realizing it wasn't going to happen. Thurman is a harder puncher than Floyd so there's that. However, pretty sure Floyd hurt Ghost in round 8 of their fight/ Floyd literally controlled every second of his fight with Ghost. The same thing can't be said for Thurman but it was a good win for him nonetheless. Not sure why his victory must be compared with Floyd's.How is that the case?
Accuracy isn't the only stat that matters, in fact, it's probably the least important stat. What matters it that more punches landed on Guerrero from Thurman and Guerrero landed more punches on Floyd.
Guerrero threw more against Floyd because Floyd couldn't shut Guerrero down. The key to fighting is to make the opponent miss and MAKE THEM PAY. Floyd did NOT do that, Keith DID.
You guys need to put in some rounds of work before talking like you're intellectuals in the sport.Comment

Agree,
Thurman did better offensively
Floyd did better defensively
Guerrero got some moments against Thurman, no moment at all against Floyd. Floyd just do what he has to get the WComment

You guys are blind if you don't see Thurman's win as better than Floyd's. You may want to watch both fights again, because I didn't see the utter domination vs Guerrero for Floyd. I remember when I first watched it I thought Floyd could've been down on the cards after the first few rounds simply due to Floyd being inactive and Guerrero roughing him up a bit on the inside.Comment

I remember I had it 4-2 after 6 for Floyd, and the Floyd pretty much embarrassed him and didn't lose any more rounds after that except giving the 12th away. Had it 9-3 Floyd. I don't remember Floyd ever getting punched after the 6th round. But we're talking two years ago, and I haven't seen the boring ass fight since so.....You guys are blind if you don't see Thurman's win as better than Floyd's. Your whole entire argument was based on punches landed, which is essentially the accuracy of a fighter's onslaught. It sure as hell matters lol, especially if Robert threw almost 100 punches more against Floyd and only managed to land around 14 more overall then against Thurman. Keith was more offensive minded as well and executed a completely different gameplan than Floyd but Floyd dominated Guerrero and only had to resort to his defensive maneuvers.
Thurman may have more power than Floyd but they both fight completely different. They may have won their fights against Guerrero but went about it two completely different ways and at the end of it all, Floyd may have not looked as impressive because of his defensive style, but he beat Guerrero more soundly and with no troubles whatsoever.Comment

i think... its a different display of superiority.. floyd landed sharp sharp shots, evaded beautifully, while thurman bombed guerrero and took some himself.
but keep in mind that thurman is no hot sh~t to the public right now. he needs to look exciting, he needs to bring the fight to guerrero even if he doesnt want to, he needs to take more risks.Comment
