you don't sound very sure about Manny winning.

"HE'LL trouble Floyd" why are all these Pac fans saying this crap.

That's weak as ****...its about wins, no moral victories or giving good accounts

    Mayweather is coming to win

No matter how you try to water things down, Mayweather has defeated more world class guys than Manny. Its just facts.

There has been no doubt in my mind Mayweather beats him today and years ago. He is just a better fighter. Manny is great but I don't see him beating Floyd and never did.

The difference between me and you is Im sure Mayweather wins...you hope Manny wins...that's like wishing for a rainbow.
will win and the only way he doesn't is if Manny Knocks him the **** out...I said this about Roy Jones and the same goes for Floyd....you aint beating nobody like that with no clear loss by decision. too much talent, experience, smarts and skill.

Manny is the one with the punchers chance
Do you believe that Manny's just there to show up?

Pac's been in there with HOF's Marquez, Barrera, Morales, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley
Pac didn't have the start that Floyd had, Floyd came from a family of boxers, even at their lowest they had connections & money beyond the reach of Manny.
The reason some fans are saying the trouble that Pac will cause is because of respect for the game. Floyd's a talent, a defensive genius. Pac's the other side, an attacking beast.
Floyd's fought nobody like Manny & Manny's fought nobody like Floyd.
Floyd's record is overrated, that's not to say it shouldn't be appreciated.
Manny has losses, greats lose, they lose because they challenge themselves.
Ali, Frasier, Foreman, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran go through the books...many lost
Robinson lost to Lamotta, he beat him 5 times but still lost to him. These fighters all lost to beasts at the time. They didn't avoid them.
Manny's rematched some great fighters, he's lost in his career, so what?

RJJ was a genius, look what Calzaghe did to him. You can say both were past it. I feel RJJ is lucky that he didn't meet Calzaghe when he had more sting & stronger hands. With Joe's damaged hands he still made a mess of Jones
The Floyd Manny fight could play out similar

Its hard to assess those attributes because they apply them different.

Any advantage one guys has is only by a small margin or is/will be nullified by something else.

hand Speed...I'd say Manny may be faster throwing combos, Mayweather is faster with single shots...Mayweather places his shots, Manny punches through the target and punches in bunches.

footspeed...imo is even...Manny has short rhythm and Mayweather has long rhythm...Manny is more aggressive he comes forward, Mayweather stays In the right position to land and not get it

power....I'd say is even...neither guy has had a kayo in a long time and both

Manny's shots are unexpected because the angle, Mayweathers because of impeccable timing...most of their common opponents say their power and speed is about the same

The only area that stands out to me for either is Physical strength, reach and reflexes....Mayweather will be the bigger man, longer, stronger fighter with a 5 inch reach advantage. Also his reflexes are a lil bit sharper than Manny who if his hands are not placed properly, he will get clipped clean. Mayweather rolls punches and dodges them at the last millisecond

IMO this fight isn't about talent, or athleticism...they are even in those areas but apply them differently...this fight will be won based off a mix of skill and will...I honestly believe Mayweather will win because of everything we spoke of and he is hungrier than Manny Pacqauio...he has more to lose....Manny can lose 10 more times and people will say he is the best....when Mayweather's opponents win more than a round, people say the opponent troubled him. The expectations people have for Floyd are in a whole other level than Pacs.....People expected Mayweather to be great before he turned pro, Manny came out of no where and beat a lot of odds and surpassed expectations....Like Jim Lampley said, fighting Floyd Mayweather is like a cold dose of reality...cant wait til 5/2
Agree with most of that, I think Manny has more power and explosiveness in his shots but the winner will impose his gameplan more effectively.

I would like to see Manny win but honestly his gameplan is much harder to execute against Floyd than Floyd's is on him. Manny will have to make the fight, try to out hustle, position Floyd in a way to make him more stationary, and force him into defensive lulls for long periods of time......not easy to do.
