I know when Danny & Peter fought at the Barclay Center together in the past they pulled in 12,000-13,000 both times and it was an electric crowd. Now they're arguably being put into the most compelling fights of their career, I expect the crowd to be bigger and even more alive. With a buzz like that, I think the casuals at home will get excited.

In a perfect world, casuals never make the mistake of jumping on the bandwagon of an overhyped unimpressive average club fighter like Danny after watching Peterson outclass him, and get behind a warrior like Quillin after an impressive win over an elite fighter like Lee.

There is a reason why Tyson is the most prolific boxing personality of all time and it was because he left the fans with devastating knockouts. The casual audience doesn't want the sweet science which is kind of why I fear that mismatches and or fixed fights might become an issue. These fights appear to be solid matchups on paper but both Quillin and Garcia are the name boxers as far as the PBC is concerned. Things will be pushed as far as they can to ensure that they win but they really do need to win by KO if the casuals are going to start to follow this sport.
I wonder if Rios and Alvarado would be American boxing legends right now (a la Gatti) if their first two fights were shown on network TV.

Froch vs Bute would have been a better opening, or Margarito vs Cotto I.

i expect viewership to decrease. i'm thinking around 2.9 million average this time around.

i don't expect quillin vs lee to be exciting at all. quillin going to spoil by playing very safe as possible to secure a haymon decision win.

garcia vs peterson will be mediocre as well. i expect both guys to fight a careful tactical fight especially lamont who knows his chin isn't very good. and danny isn't fighting a salka so he isn't going to go crazy trying to take peterson out of there early.

not much excitement from any of these fights to keep the casuals entertained.
