People gotta remember, no one knows who the **** these guys are. No one. You get shelved up in 25m homes where an avg of 1m tune in for the last two decades, no one is going to know you.

People only really care for two names and can associate with a few others, as in they heard his name before.

Boxing is in a fairly poor state right now. Network shows like this in the long term is what will change that.

Winning the demo was good....I'm amazed anyone stayed after Broner and Molina tried to kill PBC from the jump.

The quality of production looks killer..." but as we often see with movies, the trailers were much better than the actual show.

The ring walks were horrendous, awkward, and incredibly underwhelming. The ring announcer; the blow-by-blow analysis and commenting were pitiful, at best; they could have done so much more to make a spectacle out of it. After all, wasn't that the purpose? Wasn't the purpose to really go out there and try to show mainstream TV that this **** is worth watching? Those of us who follow boxing will follow it to hell and back...but PBC wasn't really for us...was it?
focusing on the fighters and the fights uhhh what else do boxing fans want lol u guys are trying to spin a great thing bad and i dont get why who cares if u like haymon or not

For the love of god PLEASE DITCH THE CORNY GAMESHOW LOOKING RING ENTRANCES!! That **** was just unacceptable. Lala Ali looked damn sexy but she needs serious work on her interviewing and commentating skills.

As far as the fights I liked what I saw. Broner took molina to school and made him look like an amateur, I blame that on molina not broner. Guerrero vs Thurman was a MOTHER****ING WAR! Thurman beat guerrero way worse than mayweather did. I'm now convinced Keith Thurman is the truth!

So Mares fought after Guerrero/Thurman? I didn't even know.

People saying it got double what HBO does are missing the boat. HBO shows don't spend a fraction the costs Al just spent on production and promotion for this weekends card. You had tons a paid tv commercials, billboards, radio ads ect and to only get a 3 is not impressive. HBO is subscription based and does not need the advertisers. Al spending all this money and aint getting high enough ratings to lure advertisers to recoup the money he is losing. The biggest problem is Al once again putting on mismatches. All the fights had huge underdogs and all the favorites on the card won and did so Comfortably. The best fight had Thurman still winning 10 or 11 of the rounds. And the first televised fight was a train wreck with Broner getting booed in a boring fight. That's a terrible introduction for casual fans who showed up after the media blitz to see what NBC boxing was all about. Guarantee many checked out and never came back because Broner and Molina. Al needs to put on evenly matched fights. Broner should of been fighting Maidana, Garcia or Matthyse last night. Not a C clas fighter like Molina. Al continuing to protect his fighters will not bring in casual fans. The numbers weren't terrible and hopefully they get better but please stop trying to spin this when you drop that kind of money and it's on NBC you need higher then a 3.

Wonder how CBS will do. We'll probably start seeing adds during March Madness in a few days.

The hate for haymon overpowers the love of boxing. Sad.

There are some areas in which the production can be improved. In many ways, it seen dsjointed, like they were using different parts from different machines and trying to put it together. It didn't run very smoothly, but it can get better.Al Michaels was a good host, but he seen like he didn't know what to say or didn't understand what to say a lot of times.

The announcing team was average. Both Marv Albert and Sugar Ray Leonard were rusty and didn't have the sense of team cohesion That will get better over time.

The production had some good points and some bad points. Hopefully, they will make some adjustments and the April 11 show will be better.
