id say that was the **** that annoyed me the most. the constant hyperbole.

"Oh what a GREAT PUNCH!!! This fight is INCREDIBLE MUST SEE ACTION!!! WOW!"

Happens on HBO And SHO. Kellerman is the king of hyperbole

Its unfortunate pbc wasted their first fight on the broker vs. Molina mismatch. They better have more competitive matchups than that in order for the casual fan to want to tune back in. I think ill stick with watching HBO fights. They are action packed and don't have the fighters running the whole fight. Cant wait until pacquiao takes mayweather to school and outclass him for 9 or 10 straight rounds before knocking mayweather out. Punish him for all those dispariging comments made about Mannys alleged ped use. Manny is going to make mayweather pay for his words

I think the "Premiere Boxing Championship" series is off to a good start! If you look at the line-up of fights, they could all be on HBO Championship Boxing, or Showtime Championship Boxing, and the boxers would get less exposure. I think it's great that the public can get quality fight without a subscription to HBO or Showtime, and definitely without paying $50-$70 on a pay-per-view.

The numbers did better than I was expecting, if they can sustain on those number on the main NBC platform on a Saturday prime-time that's fantastic, if they can grow them that's awesome. German & Mexican free tv markets have stronger ratings for the sport, so there's still a target to shoot for.

They're going big with the debut, I hope quality doesn't dip towards the end of the year.

Boxing still leads ratings over all combat sports in America when demographic ratings tests are taken so "niche" sport is B.S.. Thurman who could barely crack the 1 million mark on showtime, pulls in over 3 million which is expected to rise. It got beat out by re-runs of some of the most watched shows on t.v. by whom? people over 49, PBC on NBC led in 18-49 viewership which instantly tells you that no matter the rating boxing is more viable then those other shows which beat out. Virtual unknown in the first ever episode you gotta be crazy to think that boxing is dead. REALLY?

poor numbers. PBC is truly very forgettable. i doubt any of those people return. nothing really memorable.

PBC is on a path of mediocrity. HBO and Showtime is where quality boxing with quality execution commentating and quality fights can be found.

Fans were booing the first fight of the series ever, enough said. Guerrero-Thurman was a great match though. Mares struggling against a feather fisted bum was hilarious as well. The whole solo-fighter WWE style entrance was corny as **** as well. You could also tell that Al Michaels and Marv Albert had very little knowledge about the deeper boxing world. Albert couldn't even pronounce Matthysse's name right.

Adrian Loser wrecked the ratings with his all talk no action Turd Joust. Anyone who tuned in during his "fight" wouldnt have stayed on board for more than 2-3 minutes...then off to more exciting things to watch like QVC

The fights ****** as expected due to Al Haymon matchups. I hope the numbers keep growing though more boxing is a good thing.

The trend on this board and the rest of the PBC boards is the Haymon haters talk ish about last nights event. Talk about HBO is the place to watch the best fights. LOL no comment or thread about the DUD of a fight on HBO2 last night put on by Top Rank right? The most viewed boxing related television event in years but these non-boxing fans are network and promotion groupies. Whats wrong with boxing is that portion of idiot fans who would rather pledge the're collective allegiance to a network rather then to the pugilists who put their own lives on the line the moment they part the ropes. Last night was a massive achievement for boxing as a sport irregardless of who put it together, and if you cant see that then you my friend are a network groupie.
