His first fight after he comes off his "retirement" is a LIGHTWEIGHT(135lb) JMM. Those are fights real boxing heads would've love to see. But hey, "TBE" fought Carlos Baldormir and Judah(I went to that fight) who came off two losses(But Manny has to take care of his 2 L's... JMM and Bradley before he can fight "TBE"). Smh.
Lmao you must be drunk...PAC had all demands and debated drug testing he blew that ...floyd wanted to fight cotto arum thought cotto wasn't ready...same with Shane ..Hoya stepped up after years of Floyd wanting it ...clottey I won't even entertain that joke ...margacheato I would have agreed if he wouldn't have been caught cheating and got destroyed by old Shane 11 months later he was dominated by Floyd and then after that Ko by cotto ...stop the bs ...Paul Williams I thought was way overrated but the only one I don't have an opinion on winner ...Shane beat up twice by Vernon who is a weaker version of Floyd ...PAC is the biggest cherry picker in history ...he fights guys who were old when Floyd fights them (this is what haters say) rios off loss, the swimsuit model , and pillow punching bradley ...maidana or canelo beats anyone PAC has probably ever fought stop the bs...even Marquez says he's the best and didn't want the fight at any weight ...please stop the shhhhh

Thurmon would get picked off by Floyd all night, Mayweather would just boss the fight with his jab, it'll end up looking like the Canelo fight, he's too wild for Floyd and is there to be hit too often.

He's a good fighter and deserves credit for his win last night, but he's still not on Mayweathers level.

Typical Floydie fan-bwaaaay. Defend your boss, no matter the cost, eh?
        HA

Too bad Floydie ducked a bunch of em til they were past their prime. But of course you don't recognize that FACT.

Floydie's the one saying he's the ATG. If he keeps blaring that around any and everywhere, then yeah, he needs to be held to a higher standard. Comes with the territory.

        -----------------------------------------------
As for Thurman, he won vs a guy who for whatever reason didn't do what he's best at - inside fighting. And like many here have said, Thurman has several liabilities that IMO negate to some extent his assets. He isn't ready for Floydie yet, and probably won't be before Floydie retires.

Now you watch... Floydie picks Thurman next after the Pac fight.
        HA!

what past prime fighters are you talking about ?

Floyd begged for years to get a DLH fight, this is the exam reason why he left Top Rank.
Floyd begged many times for a Mosley fights but Mosley had "tooth problem"
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPJhvYXKZK8
Marquez was old but still good enough to light out Pac

Maidana, Alvarez, Guerrero, Ortiz, Hatton, Judah, Castillo, Corrales, Augustus, Hernandez were are young fighters near or at their prime.

The one I can give it to you is Cotto, but Arum said numerous time he wasnt ready for FLoyd.
            http://www.************.com/2010/03/...ck-mayweather/

Then there is Pac, but Pac refused a 50-50 split in his ultimate prime over drug tests he requested later after getting crushed by Marquez against Rios.

And if you still dont agree with me, then Pac is way worse, considering he fought Mosley, DLH, Hatton, Marquez all at a certain point after Floyd.

Whether that's enough for him to win is another story but it's a very dangerous fight still.
I don't know about that. If Floyd is standing in a wide/square stance, then it's easy to dig through his midsection with body punches. Thurman likes to drop his hands and jumps in a wild at times. I just can't picture him beating Floyd unless father time finally catches up to, Floyd. Thurman has yet to fight someone who can quickly anticipate his rhythm the way Floyd is capable of doing. If Floyd stays in his Philly shell stance and use his jab to control the fight; I don't see how he can lose unless you think Thurman can outbox him. The only way that I can see Floyd losing is if he let Thurman get off first and not able to counter him, but it's hard to do that against Floyd unless you're able to get him out of his comfort zone and make it a rough/dirty fight. Thurman has raw punching power on both hands and versatility, but he'd have to force Floyd to slug it out in order to win.

Are we going to act like Golovkin didn't sign to fight Chavez? Hasn't been chasing Froch for a fight? wasn't in negotiations to fight Kessler? They offered Rodriguez a fight in 2013, told Ward to send them an offer just recently.

There's a difference between not being able to get the fights, and deliberately not taking them like some fighters.
