Thurmon would get picked off by Floyd all night, Mayweather would just boss the fight with his jab, it'll end up looking like the Canelo fight, he's too wild for Floyd and is there to be hit too often.
He's a good fighter and deserves credit for his win last night, but he's still not on Mayweathers level.

HA
Too bad Floydie ducked a bunch of em til they were past their prime. But of course you don't recognize that FACT.

Pac can fight Algieri and Rios and get a free pass, people will claim he is a beast. Floyd is held to higher standards than all the other fighters in the last 20 years, wake up dude.

As for Thurman, he won vs a guy who for whatever reason didn't do what he's best at - inside fighting. And like many here have said, Thurman has several liabilities that IMO negate to some extent his assets. He isn't ready for Floydie yet, and probably won't be before Floydie retires.
Now you watch... Floydie picks Thurman next after the Pac fight.

Floydie's the one saying he's the ATG. If he keeps blaring that around any and everywhere, then yeah, he needs to be held to a higher standard. Comes with the territory.

Floyd begged for years to get a DLH fight, this is the exam reason why he left Top Rank.
Floyd begged many times for a Mosley fights but Mosley had "tooth problem"

Marquez was old but still good enough to light out Pac
Maidana, Alvarez, Guerrero, Ortiz, Hatton, Judah, Castillo, Corrales, Augustus, Hernandez were are young fighters near or at their prime.
The one I can give it to you is Cotto, but Arum said numerous time he wasnt ready for FLoyd.

Then there is Pac, but Pac refused a 50-50 split in his ultimate prime over drug tests he requested later after getting crushed by Marquez against Rios.
And if you still dont agree with me, then Pac is way worse, considering he fought Mosley, DLH, Hatton, Marquez all at a certain point after Floyd.

Whether that's enough for him to win is another story but it's a very dangerous fight still.Last edited by Carpe Diem; 03-08-2015, 05:50 PM.

There's a difference between not being able to get the fights, and deliberately not taking them like some fighters.
