If Haymon thought Broner could beat Matthysse he'd have made the fight.

Why did Matthyse avoid Broner's call to arms?

By Dan Ambrose:
"Mike Stafford, the trainer for former three time world champion Adrien Broner (29-1, 22 KOs), says he prefers that Broner not fight #1 WBO, #2 WBC Lucas Matthysse (36-3, 34 KOs) next. Stafford wants Broner to fight for a world title and pick up a belt before fighting Matthysse at a later date.
If Stafford gets his way then we might not see Broner vs. Matthysse for quite some time. In that case then there would have been no real point in last Saturday’s mismatches between Broner and Emmanuel Taylor and Matthysse vs. Roberto Ortiz on Showtime."

"Broner beat Molina easier than Matthyse, much more easier and showed how to neutralize the right hand that Matthyse constantly got battered and beat down with"
stoppead reading there, you are a fool, broner vs molina fight was some strange fixed stuff, molina obviously bet money on broner winning and cashed out
