If Haymon thought Broner could beat Matthysse he'd have made the fight.
Why did Matthyse avoid Broner's call to arms?

By Dan Ambrose:
"Mike Stafford, the trainer for former three time world champion Adrien Broner (29-1, 22 KOs), says he prefers that Broner not fight #1 WBO, #2 WBC Lucas Matthysse (36-3, 34 KOs) next. Stafford wants Broner to fight for a world title and pick up a belt before fighting Matthysse at a later date.
If Stafford gets his way then we might not see Broner vs. Matthysse for quite some time. In that case then there would have been no real point in last Saturday’s mismatches between Broner and Emmanuel Taylor and Matthysse vs. Roberto Ortiz on Showtime."

Prodvodnikov is not FEARED, he got outboxed by soft Algieri. Prod is the most easiest to hit in the junior welterweight division. He is not even close to being as gifted as Adrien Broner who can actually connect with his punches when he got someone hurt. Matthyse avoided Broner simple as that, he wanted no parts. E was quiet as all hell. Before Broner called him out, Matthyse wanted either Brner or Garcia. Then Broner said Matthyse should be my next opponent, Matthyse got very quiet and then hurry up and signed an extension with Goldenbky promotions, using loyalty as an excuse.Really? http://www.boxingscene.com/lucas-mat...ll-talk--81798
Matthysse is fighting the most FEARED 140 lb fighter in the division but he ducking Broner doeComment
