Is the PED called Xylocaine still legal in Nevada?

Even when the proof is in the pudding Floyd fans wanna make excuses and come up with some bs logic tht its ok for him to use this, y the hell do u think Floyd doesnt fight anywhere else but Vegas ? Not only cuz hes got the judges leaning towards him but because he cant use this ped anywhere else ! Its very obvious and should be dealt with, there are many other ways to protect damaging ur hands besides numbing them which is not even logicalComment

Floyd inject xylocaine on his hands then wrap it with gauze and then put on a pillow glove because they said it was "brittle".
does anyone here knows boxer or boxers on record who injured their hands from a previous fight and started injecting their hands with xylocaine from then on when they fight or is it only Floyd who do this?
how come Floyd hits josie harris with his bare hands (no gauze wrap around it and no pillow gloves) without injecting xylocaine and suddenly it was not brittle anymore?Comment

How can Xylocaine be a performance enhancing drug? it's like a medicine for brittle hands, Floyd fractures little bones and overstrains ligaments in his hands every time he fights, what could he do? Fight throught the whole 8 weeks of training camp and the last 8 rounds of every fight with ****ed up hands? Do you know how painful that is? How could numbing your hands give you more power anyway, if you're hands are numb you can't ball them up to make a fist with protruding knuckles, how can you punch with power if you don't punch with the knucles,if the punches are always with an open glove that balls up once you touch your opponent? How is that a decent power punch?
If you hurt your hands a lot your nervous system will automatically tell your arms not to punch with power because your hands might get hurt if you do, that's y Floyd's punches are launched fast but then midway through he unconsciously slows them down because his body doesn't want the hands to get hurt.
Even if he's actually using Xylocaine, he still injures his hands, he injured his right hand during the Guerrero fight and everybody saw how swollen they've got after the fight, the guy fought with broken hands and fought through a lot of pain almost for 1/4 the rounds he fought in his career and he still won and made them all look easy, you gotta respect that, he lacks the most important weapons for boxers which is durable hands and good punching power due to the accumulation of hand injuries and he's still P4P #1 fighter in the world at 38! this just goes to show you how skillful and mentally tough this guy actually is.
Why should Floyd have an advantage over other fighters because he is physically at a disadvantage.
Hands get sore in training, it's an impact sport. To numb your hands so you can fight through pain due to not feeling it is clearly a PED.
Steroids allow you to train harder without getting tired, they aid recovery, they are a PED.
Floyd's numbing his hands to train harder than he is capable of without it, therefore it's clearly a PED
I hope Vegas are shamed into commenting on this, it's a disgrace
If it wasn't a PED it would legal everywhereComment

I don't want to get in a ************ contest with you over specific fighters. I am just posting what I personally know about lidocaine, the rules regarding which may change year to year.Last edited by ////; 03-06-2015, 10:56 AM.Comment

Would going to the dentist fill you with anxiety if you knew that there would be no pain relief?
Similar situation
Floyd training & fighting without numbing his hands would be incapable of training.
How could he if his hands were always causing him pain?
Now give that fighter something that dulls his pain, Will he train & fight the same?
Of course not
It's performance enhancing, clearlyComment

More importantly, remember the entire reason PEDs are banned: To protect the fighters. Any numbing agent could cause danger to both fighters.Last edited by ////; 03-06-2015, 11:03 AM.Comment

How many people would have their tooth pulled if they weren't numb?

on topic, you are right
any drug that enhances performance is a PED whether it is legal or not is the next question.Comment
