Listen to yourself. You actually said what can Roc Nation offer to Cotto other than money as if that's some ****ty thing. As if that's irrelevant. As if that doesn't pay your bills and is the primary reason why we work. And then you inadvertently compare it to a scenario that's probably not as good and brings him nothing but...money.

So we're complaining Cotto took a better deal? Miguel Cotto has been in many big fights, tough wars and has had an illustrious career, regardless of where he winds up ranked. As he enters the twilight of his year, a man who has paid his dues to this game time and time again is now getting an ROI. And you think he lives in another universe. I agree with everything you say here, i dont care who a fighter is signed to, makes no difference to me. I just dont see how signing with roc nation is going to get him a fight for 10million? Of course you don't see, you aren't involved. All we can do is apply common sense. Which is it had to have been a better deal. Of course there are fourth graders on here who really think this move is based on him avoiding Alvarez or Golovkin or whatever. But the reality is, this was business. Do you know how much Top Rank would've got out of that $10.5m? Do you know what his signing bonus with Roc Nation will be? Do you know what he'll be guaranteed for his next fight? No. All you have to know is that he said Top Rank was offering him crumbs. So obviously whatever he is getting looks like a four course meal in comparison. Todd is respected in the industry for his honesty, integrity and business savy and I havent heard anyone speak down on him. Cotto on the other hand has been proven to have diva like qualities

Absolutely nothing but money...$10 million bucks for one fight which would be paying him considerably more than he earned for fighting Floyd and he's complaining. It's in the article. He wants to start putting on concerts and stuff in Puerto Rico and who else better to be in connection with than Jay Z? I think Cotto is looking beyond boxing and more on establishing him self in a major way to be a figure head in Puerto Rico. I hope so too. Obviously, as a fan that's what I want to see. But as a person living in reality, I also see the big picture. Cotto should get a nice win in front of a packed crowd in MSG in June, setting up a big fight in the fall. And if he loses that June fight, he has insured himself.

I hope its true that Miguel Cotto and JaY z are going to be on firsttake tomorrow. Todd offered him Canelo the BIGGEST fight possible other than Floyd vs. Pac, so that is breadcrumbs now? what is he going to get with Roc Nation? If you think Arum and Haymon hated each other, well Jay Z is basically Haymons enemy for real, Haymon will NEVER EVER EVER do business with Jay, he even told his fighters to forfiet titles when Roc Nation won purse bids. So the only other option for Cottto at 160 is to face GGG lol.

Cotto is a cold dude, he is the one who is not loyal, look what he did to his own uncle, his uncle is very strict and like a drill Sargent but he was just doing his job as a trainer Cotto punched him and humiliated him in the gym his OWN uncle just because his uncle told him to stop being lazy.

I like watching Cotto fight, but this man got issues just not a nice guy at all, even fellow Puerto Rican boxers don't really like him, Ivan Calderon said the problem with Cotto is he isn't friendly like Tito Trinidad and that is the truth.
