I know the rumor is nonsense, and is just that gossip/rumor.

There was another rumor that another sparring partner KNOCKED DOWN Floyd around that same year, and that went everywhere too and was debunked too.

Between this thread, the comment you just quoted and his quote about still working on a gameplan to beat Floyd (remember that a couple years ago?), I wonder if he even thinks they can win.

Lol I've seen guilty people being cross examined who spoke with more confidence ... What happens if they start bringing people in with Floyd's style to spar and Manny is getting whooped on in sparring? What would something like that do for his confidence knowing Floyd is the real deal?
