I've met Shane, he's a good dude. He was a champion and a professional. And, no one on this board can say that. But if we are comparing what other champs have said--then no, he has a less credible opinion. Sorry, sad, but true. And, I'm trying to figure out why people are valuing his opinion more than Marquez, or some other trainers who have spoken out. Seems like bias is clouding the opinions. This is discourse, man. I'm proposing we keep ourselves in check.

Marquez and Hopkins both picked Mayweather to win.

Yeah, so??? I appreciate their takes. They know their ****.

My post wasn't about who people are picking to win. My post was about who people find credible and who people don't. I included my personal insight because that's the spirit of the post.

If Shane Mosley's opinion on the matter of boxing isn't credible then this site should be shut down. Because no one on this whole site could have an opinion that matters more than a guy on Shane's level...

The same man who predicts a KO before every Pac fight. Roach is a hype man he tries to hype fights up and tries to use some mental strategy, the tuff he talking now shows he is nervous, he knows his fighter is past his best while Floyd is still fresh, he is trying to goad Floyd to prove his manhood to Roach, but Floyd doesnt care he said it best I fighter smarter not harder and its not about proving to the fans who has the most balls in the ring its about fighting smart for self preservation.

What Floyd said came straight out of his mouth.
Listen.... the difference between Mayweather fans and Pacquiao fans is that..... no matter what people say about Mayweather we know he is going to win. Pacquiao fans change with articles. If I'm a professional fighter I am fighting to win too and if and when a fighter wants or beats me, he has to earn it and not make it easier for them. Floyd said a lot of things but people pick and choose what they want to believe.

I don't "know" Floyd is going to win. I think he dropped the first one to Maidana. He's looked less than stellar for the past couple years. Roach is great as a trainer but he is also a hype man.

Again, I'm a fight fan not a fan boy. All this fanboyness distracts from a lot of great things in boxing. It mostly distracts from how great Manny and Floyd both are. They always want to go to far...

Shane Mosley is the same man who said Pacquiaoo hit him the hardest he has ever been hit in his life and grazing punches from Pac even rattle your brain lol.

Although I agree with Shane here that Floyd can KO Pac which I believe is the likely KO scenario since Pac has a glass chin and Floyd has a harder right hand punch than Pacs left, I don't take his opinion very serious the man has a few screws loose. He was fighting a half ass slowed down version of Pac too, yet Pac hit him harder than Vernon Forrest? lol Shane is off his rocker.

He said Pac hit him the hardest lol, yeah sure. Brandon Rios already said Pac punches weak, and Oscar said Floyd and Manny hit about the same, the only other people who say Pac hits hard are Bradley and Marquez but they are gentleman and exaggerating the power. Hatton and Cotto have never given credit to Pacs power and they were both dropped by Pac, yet they don't think he hits that hard. Even Algieri said Pac never hurt him.

This why I think Shane Mosley lacks credibility when it comes to Pacs Power, he is the only man besides Bradley and Marquez who said Pac has punching power.
