Yeah, there would be an avalanche of excuses. Not just from the fans, but from the media, other fighters, etc. If Manny wins, it will be one of the biggest wins in boxing history. It's just how it is.

Mosley picking Mayweather to win by decision doesn't make this a perceived mismatch. It's not as if Mosley picked Mayweather to blow Pacquiao away.

You can't tell how a fighter will do against another based on common opponents.. Shane should have said I think Floyd will win because I threw the fight with Pac and could have hurt him if I wanted to

Floyd said PAC was a washed up has been a year ago and recently said PAC is not the same fighter anymore so that should answer your question straight from mayweather mouth.

It's basically why nobody is picking PAC to win now, a few years ago before PAC got knocked out by Marquez it would be a 50 50 fight.
