Btw can someone explain to me how the WBA titles work?

Golovkin is currently the WBA Super champion.
Danny Jacobs is the WBA regular champion.

Does this mean Jacobs is in a mandatory position for Golovkin or are they basically two separate titles in the same weight class?

I would put it this way the WWE is a bit more selective in giving out belts than the WBA.

The WWE is smart enough to protect their brand. They understand that if there is an oversaturation of titles it weakens it. The WBA is motivated only by short term greed.

Yep. Jacobs won the title in similar fashion to how Golovkin won it vs Nunez, while Sturm was the super champ and N'Dam eventually became the interim champ. The idea is the interim has to fight the regular and the winner of that fights the super every other year. It's never ever happened though.

I wonder why ggg doesnt call out jacobs. Both would get nice paydays. And like a year ago Jacobs said he would fight quillin or ggg

Loeffler has mentioned a desire to match Golovkin with Jacobs, but it's doubtful they'll get him for the same reasons they haven't got Quillin. Jacob's team refused to even negotiate with Chudinov when Chudinov was his mandatory.

Here's a better idea, why don't some of the PBC roster get in the ring with him instead? Quillen and Jacobs will never fight him in a million years even if they were the mandatory or held belts and he was the mandatory challenger.
