If Lara couldn't beat Canelo, who doesn't have the power and ring cutting off ability of GGG, what makes you think he can beat Golovkin? Even if you think Lara won, it was still a close scrappy fight. I like Lara but I call em like I see em.

Canelo ans Golovkin aren't the same type of fighter. Not that I'd favor Lara either. I wouldnt. It would just be a different fight.

Does it really matter? None of those guys are considered legit threats to GGG. Nothing to see here...

The plan is to go to 168 so he can get a competitive fight and if he cares so much about belts he can become a 2 division champ.

He's not getting that 160 even if he gets Lee/Sanders, Lemeiux/N'Dam, Canelo, or Cotto

If he moves to 168 for his next fight, it won't be for any titles.

So it's move up and fight some dude at 168 who you probably never heard of and then dump that extra weight for his next fight at 160. That would be brilliant lol

Or GGG could fight some TOP 20 guy at 168 and come into the fight at the 160 pound limit.
