He did say that and this is another chance for him to get what he was asking for.

Let's see if he accepts it this time.

Can still happen. He's always wanted to fight at the City Ground (40k seater stadium) in Nottigham too. He just needed a better opponent than "The Fail-ien"

At least this fight would mean something.

I was at Ward vs Froch I and Ward clearly beat Froch. The ref had nothing to do with it. Funny how people mainly brits are complaining about the ref but didn't have jacksh(t to say about the ref in the Tszyu vs Hatton fight.

For the Froch came on late crowd that was when Ward hurt is hand. If Ward wouldn't have hurt his hand the fight would have been a lot worse for Froch than what it was.

Ward beat Froch then and will beat Froch now. Ward is just better than Froch. In the USA or England Ward will win.

Froch recently vacated his IBF title because the sanctioning body ordered him to fight Matchroom stablemate James DeGale. The Nottingham boxer would be open to idea of facing Ward in a revenge bout - if Ward would travel across the ocean to the UK for the fight.

How does Ward still hold the WBA belt?

Its a shame "fighters" hold belts hostage, even worse commissions dont enforce their own rules fairly across the board. Bravo to Froch for vacating his title so other fighters could try to become champ.

If by england he means oakland then yeah maybe Ward might go there to fight. :P

lmao Right, Wards some new crowd packer hey. News to the world that mate.
Froch is the draw here, filled out Wembley 77,000 seats buddy. Dont think Ward has filled 77,000 seats in his whole career added together.

Anyway, I'd love to see the fight. Hopefully Froch can pick up from where he left it in the last few rnds. However it will be a tough ask for froch, but this will be his best shot.

Because Ward is nowhere near the draw that Chavez Jr is. HBO wouldn't make Froch v Ward PPV. Even in Vegas Froch is the bigger draw out of the two. The fight could take place in Ward's living room and there would still be more Froch fans there.

So that fight earns the most, by a long distance at the City Ground in Nottingham + Sky PPV.

Froch travelled in the Super Six to fight Ward. Now it's Ward's turn to travel, Froch has been the one fighting the best in the division, making a star out of himself and Ward will earn more money in Nottingham too. No reason for it not to happen.

Exactly lol he doesn't want to get owned in Vegas, he'd rather fight a face first brawler like Chavez jr.

Nothing wrong with what Froch is doing here. It's a win/win call the bluff and get upgraded to super WBA champion and call Ward a ***** or if Ward takes the fight in England he gets another huge payday and has a much better chance beating him as he's gotten better since that fight, Ward inactive, fighting at home, and yes judges will lean towards Froch more like every country does for their home fighters.
