I really don't see what's great about Joshua tbh. He made his name beating old man Cammerelie in 2011 and then getting beaten up by Medzidov in the final. After that he had all the hype about him and carried that into the Olympics where realistically he should have been eliminated in the opening match. Who else did he beat that was of note in the amateurs? Dychko was the only name I could find.

There's nothing the UK fans enjoy more than a bit of domestic violence. If it's two unbeaten heavyweights, both big punchers, even better!
One thing for sure, "The Villain" is not going to shut up about beating AJ as an amateur till he gets a chance to try and prove he can do it again as a pro.

Bit like the Quigg Frampton fighter is bigger now than 18 months ago

Joshua is getting a lot of attention right now, Whyte is simply piggy backing the train, who wouldn't ?
Like stated before, this fight should be allowed to boil, if Whyte keeps winning and winning in style he could make a name taking out a journey man such as Price or Chisora to establish himself like Hughie Fury just has in beating Rudenko.

They were hardly going to hand him silver in the circumstances, were they, but Josh did enough in the deciding third round of a real tough fight to have nicked it himself and even though he got the minor medal in the end it was a hell of a showing nonetheless by a guy who was still raw at international level.
