I find Ward awful to watch at times. I don't think I've ever re-watched one of his fights the whole way through. I am not a fan in the slightest but I respect him as one of the best fighters in the world. I want to see Golovkin tested against the best. Is that a crime now?
When ggg finished unfiying, and ward is done with his 2-3 tune ups,we'll see whos all hype, and whos truly one of the best in the sport. Until then, ill keep being an "emotional fantard",since i prefer a fighter who actually fights, and i dont consider an inactive, clinching, ring commentator, whos biggest claim to fame was beating carl frotch 4 years ago,one of the best fighters in the world. Cheers

I don't prefer either fighter. Golovkin knocking over a bunch of overmatched opponents doesn't impress me. He fights 1000 times a year and yet his resume is horrible compared to Ward's. So really...who cares?

Wrong. Andre coWard has been calling out Golovkin ever since Kovalev called him out at the end of last year.

Ward is scared of Kovalev like the coWard he is. Ward is the same weight as Stevenson and same height as Kovalev. Those are the fights he needs to be in.

Anyhow, he doesn't even want to fight Golovkin until he has had a few warm up fights so that means 2016 at the earliest if a match is made.

GGG has been fighting boxers within the top 20 in the MW division. Fairweather fans didn't give Geale any respect but when they fought he was ranked no.2 challenger behind Golovkin and the champion being Cotto by Ring magazine.

What the hell does that have to do with anything anyway?

Golovkin's people have publicly stated they'll fight anyone up to 168lbs including Ward. Ward has never said he'd go to 160 for Golovkin.

In fact, Golovkin's own people have never said anything about wanting Ward at 160!

            It's just his scared fans

find me the clip they said they'll go to 168 to fight ward.

Is that supposed to be impressive? The top 20? And of a division that is pretty terrible overall.

              Daniel Geale is **** average.

Wlad should call out Kovalev to show how great he is.

this is ass backward logic that only emotional, under-educated idiots can support. they think like females. all they see is the skin color and nothing else.

GGG would take that fight in a second at 160.
Golovkin's camp were the ones, harping about how he'd whoop every fighter 154-168.

Ward simply put his hand up and stated "how about me?". no need to try and save face now.

Man, this GGG/Ward thing is just like Floyd and Pacman. Each side pointing fingers and blaming the other.

Ward wants GGG to come to 168 and fight him, probably in his back yard, (literally). While he himself won't do anything but sit and complain and beg for big fights instead of moving to 175. (And this is from a former fan).

The there's GGG who's willing to fight everyone and their momma from 154 to 168. Except when it comes to Ward. But he'll fight Chavez jr though, hmmmm. (And this is coming from a guy who thinks he's one of the best offensive fighters in boxing).
