Golovkin has made it abundantly clear, he will stay to unify 160 or go to 168 for superfights with froch or chavez. yet Ward has been calling out GGG from his irrelevance.

Just because you didn't mention someone initially doesn't mean you can't call them out. this is ******ed.

thats exactly the point i made though, he did call out ward only to back down when ward accepted the challenge. wards irrelevance is likely the reason his people thought it wouldnt come back to bite them in the ass, but it did so they backpedaled.

dude, if one person challenges another person who in turn accepts. who is calling out who? the person who brought it up obviously, he literally called out the other persons name "hey X, i want to fight you". if X responds "sure", thats not calling anyone out, its responding to being called out.

Froch and Chavez Jr bring money and packed stadiums to the table. Ward brings no money, no belts, he has no leverage. how would it make sense to give up weight? he is in a worse position than dawson was when he fought ward. dawson was at least active.

It's ridiculous for Ward and GGG to be mentioned in the same breath. Ward still wants two tune-ups and a seven figure payday for each, which is not happening. GGG has said he wants to clear out 160 and then move up, which he is well on his way to doing. Ward could take some pointers from GGG - clear out and move up. He cleared out over three years ago and has still not moved up and is now semi-retired trying to fight a guy from the weight class below.
