He says he wouldn't want to risk his legacy yet he vacated the title to avoid his mandatory and publicly said he wouldn't want to fight ggg because its too risky. To me, those 2 actions hurt his legacy more than losing a close fight to ggg would, and he possibly could even beat ggg. Ggg us a middleweight so he may not carry enough power up to 168 to hurt Carl froch. On the other hand, a win by Carl froch would thrust him into the stratosphere in terms of legacy. Not to mention,he wants a fight in Vegas, which ggg could bring. Hes taking the easy way out by fighting Chavez Jr., but it would still be a big win for him so I guess you cant really blame him for wanting that fight. That's if Chavez gets past finfara. I would laugh so hard if Chavez Jr lost that fight.
