I like Cotto as a fighter but... It's wrong to hold onto the MW belt if he doesn't see a future at that weight class. I would respect him more if he stated that he is not a legit MW and doesn't want to get in the way of GGG getting crowned. Cotto then moves back down to super welter.

If I was the president of the WBC I would strip Cotto of the belt if he does not give a firm undertaking to face GGG. What's the point in delaying?

Well I mean the belts are pretty much all bull sh!!. But to be honest I really want COTTO to fight my man 3G,So Gennady can finally get that big fight. Here's the problem let's be honest guys why would cotto want to fight triple g when he's gonna get and automatic ass whooping. The other guy is canelo. Who is gonna end up being a big "name" fighter for hbo in the coming years as well.
