I alluded to this in another thread and will say it again here...Some people really need to stop being ****** little fanboys and glorifying everything about their guy and downplaying everything about the other. Look at it with a level head and simple logic will tell you that wether you like it or not, there is every chance that Floyd gets hurt/outworked by Manny at times AND there is every chance that Manny is outboxed/smarted by Floyd at times. Don't be surprised if we see both. Dont be shocked if Manny wins, dont be shocked if Floyd wins...

There is a reason that the world wants to see this fight, and it is because it is NOT an easy fight to pick.

i dont doubt that floyd will walk pac down at times. but are u ******ed to think pac is just gonna stand there and let floyd tee off on him? LOL!!! that's where the foot work comes in where people keep talking about. floyd will walk pac down and pac will use his foot work to get around it and throw his own combo's. should be an interesting fight!!!

Dont forget that pac suffered several knockouts two of them coming from unknown fighters during his early professional fighting career, the reason was his eagerness to overwhelm his opponent, just like the marquez fight or in other words carelessness. the point i am driving at is, pac is not what many people think, i think he is a more dangerous fighter now. Those two last fights, I saw a different manny, he is more cautious of not being knocked and at the same time finding away to beat his opponents by wide margin on points. i believe that pacquiao can beat mayweather even without the KO. After every knockout loss, manny is reborn into a better fighter, thats what his boxing career story shows, this is not good news for the mayweather fans

A lot of technical points being bandied. Remember when Hopkins fought Taylor? Hopkins made the point that Taylor was an accident waiting to happen on a technical level, he pointed out examples of hands dropping, etc. The setup was that Hopkins was older and Taylor less experienced. Many of us think Hopkins in fact won but....Taylor was able to get to Hopkins because of his strength.

In this fight Pac is not younger than Floyd, but he presents as the fighter relying more on the unrfefined athletic qualities of speed and power. When Floyd fought Hatton he had the legs to set up that check hook, and Floydhas lost a lot of leg movement in the last few years....Again proof of contention would be the Madianna fight. Does anyone here really think Madianna has any success agains the Floyd of even a few years back?

Pacquio disguises a lot of his attacks with his frenetic movement. Floyd does tend to tighten up as one poster said, but he does not have the legs to make it a sure thing. Floyd's technical ability is truly offset by Pacquio's speed and angles...if Pacquio has not lost a step. Like Taylor Pac can overwhelm with pure relentless pursuite. Of course pacquio is not stronger than Floyd, and he does not have the reach, so these are things that also figure into the equation.

Pac fought the same with Algieri as he did with his other opponents.

Now PAC is open to the right hand a lot, and doesn't do good against defensive fighters. I've seen a lot of fighters make him miss but couldn't make him pay. That's the one guarantee That you get from Floyd which is he will make you pay. Then this is the first time in a long time he's been the bigger fighter. I got Floyd winning.
I also favor floyd but he doesnt have power to make pac think twice and I have a feeling pac will be constantly coming at him at weird angles
