You're talking about his past three fights but even inexperienced kickboxer Chris Algieri landed many right counters. Bradey landed a punch that lifted Manny clean off his feet in round 4 of their 2nd fight. And in the last fight with Marquez was knocked clean out.
Does this look like a guy who moved his head enough? vvvv
Algieri's straight right didn't carry enough power for Pacquiao to take it seriously, and he was only able to land about 5 throughout the entire fight. When Bradley landed his straight right Pacquiao was already leaping backwards which gave the illusion of the punch lifting him off of the canvas when in reality he was caught off balance; for a guy that just got launched into the air by a punch he sure regained composure quickly. That one straight right was Bradley's cleanest punch, I don't recall him landing anything significant after that.
It took Marquez 42 rounds of war to KO Pacquiao with that perfect counter, he took a lot of damage and got knocked down a total of 5 times in the process, Mayweather with his brittle right hand that was re-injured the last time he fought a southpaw only has 12 rounds and I doubt he's going to punch as hard as Marquez did on that particular night.

The purpose of my post was to show that guy that Manny isn't the hardest target to hit. Yes it took Marquez 42 rounds to KO Manny but he had NO problem touching Manny in the previous 41 rounds which people believe he won most of. If it weren't for the extra point given by the knockdowns Marquez would have beaten Manny three out of four times!
You guys treat him like he's a better technician than he actually is. He's been Knocked down, he's been decisioned, and he's been Ko'd. Floyd will have no issue tagging him coming in.

This is what I can't grasp about some Pac fans. The more you discredit Floyd's ability to fight the more you discredit Pac's win against Floyd.
If for some reason Floyd fans use this 'brittle hands' as an excuse if he loses against Pac would you be mad?
This goes to all Floyd fans too.
If you asked me, I want the best version of Floyd come May 2nd. The victory will be 100 times sweeter for Pac. and if Pac lost then he lost to a better man.
Yes you can. An inferior southpaw fighter with speed made Floyd look like crap for four rounds in his prime. Now he's facing an aging, great fighter in his twilight.
No you cannot compare judah to pacquiao you fckin ******. Almost as bad as that other dumb fck saying pac is maidana w/ speed and footwork lol some of ya'll are just fckin idiots.

Meanwhile Marcos 'El Chino' Maidana was countering the famous Floyd Mayweather pull counter like it was nothing.
2:50 (first fight):
Second fight:
Let me say that again... Marcos 'El Chino' Maidana was doing this to Floyd last year.
Floyd has gotten too used to fighting flat-footed, slow brawlers who only throw one punch at a time. It will be interesting to see how he deals with someone with speed who can move and string punches together. Chino was able to counter the pull counter by simply following up his jab with a right hand. How is an even older and slower Floyd going to deal with 4, 5, 6 punch combos while getting turned?

So what? Carlos Baldomir countered Floyd's pull counter 8 years ago. Its been done before, but most guys can't pull it off repeatedly. And Floyd ONLY uses the pull counter against conventional fighters, not southpaws.
And Jim Lampley made an excellent point about Manny Pacquiao. Compubox actually showed the he throws far less power punches against guys who can counter him. He throws less total punches when a guy moves. All Floyd has to do is use just a little mobility and he can cut Manny's punch output by literally hundreds of punches throughout the fight.
1- algieri sucks lol. 2- yes pac still does over extend. Watch Bradley 2. He still reaches out and still drops his left hand all day long
Problem with that is, is Floyd gonna have the balls to wait for that left? I don't think h he will, do u kno how many left's marquez got hit with even though he fought him so many times. He got used to the power and learned to time it. I don't think when it comes down to it that Floyd will stand and wait And risk getting hit. He will use movement and his length, reach.

Who has been able to counter Manny since his move to WW besides Marquez (who fought him 4X with a record of 1-2-1 against him)? Even then, Marquez challenged Pac, exchanged with him, and took some hellacious beatings as a result. Even in the fight he won, he was bloody and battered with Nacho threatening to stop the fight. Everyone who tried the backing up, countering strategy lost WIDE easy decisions. The 5'10" 72" reach (same as Floyd) Algieri just tried that strategy and was put on his ass 6X for his effort.
The worse thing Floyd could do is fight overly defensively. Pac would win on activity alone even if he only landed like 20% of his punches (see: Clottey, Joshua). Sooner or later he's going to have to open up, let his hands go. And judging by how terrible he looked physically against Chino... I don't see that going well for him at 38.
