lol yes. Well in answer to your original question I don't think maidana dented him so much as floyd has just slipped a small bit. Whether its a permanent slip due to age or just floyd having a pair of off nights is up for debate

I've been thinking about that too - cant make up my mind on it. I thought before the fight that Maidana was going to cause issues for him so I can't quite bring myself to attribute it all to age or deterioration....having said that, I don't think I thought Floyd would look as inaccurate on his end, especially in the 2nd fight. He started well but then got rocked and to me never really got things flowing after that. REal disjointed effort by his standards - also career low output. It didn't seem like Maidana was as effective in the 2nd fight but Floyd's face looked more damaged than the first. I still haven't decided myself, be interested to read some Floyd fans thoughts

Thats the difference when a star is not up , what would a Maidana fight do mentally for Floyd Mayweather , nothing , somebody he is expected to beat like a d grader , Maidana had nothing to lose is on the high of his life coming of a WT win and now a shot at the worlds best and a big weight advantage on the night , all the while Floyd is on social media arguing about his girl aborting his child the night before the fight .

Floyd will be very driven in this fight you better believe that , its a fight that after all Floyd has done in a boxing ring will get him fired up , Floyd will make a statement in this fight .
