Not that you would care but this got you put on my ignore list.On he surface it sounds ridiculous, but when you really think about it, Pac is as much an inspiration and hero to the people of his country as MLK was here for the Blacks.
Surely you cant compare what MLK stood for to that of Pacquiao, but many people here are oblivious to the amount of help Pacquiao provides to his people. He is a savior to them.
No way in hell can you justify making that comparison.Comment

I like your sarcastic remarks, but so you know? He said he ain't playing basketball and risk any injuries. So there, he said he'll still play pick up bball to stay in shape and help his balance but that's about it.Comment

Punishment too severe. It is really a joke anyway. I fault the PBA commissioner. Apology and fine should be enough.Comment

I just wondered why this guy who is playing in the Phillipines has any right to even talk about basketball skill? If you're playing anywhere except the NBA and/or maybe China, you should really just shut the **** up about playing basketball, he couldn't make it either.Comment

Pretty ****ing lame thing to do by the PBA. Kicking him out of the PBA and giving him a $5.6k fine just for stating his (pretty harmless) opinion? Pac's a good boxer but he's getting outclassed by the bigger, better basketball players in the PBA. That's the truth. These guys are just too damn sensitive.Comment

You obviously know nothing about the Philippines and how many peoples lives Pacquiao has changed there. He has transformed entire towns and villages and made It possible for local fishermen to make a living in order to support their families amongst countless other things he's done for his people.
Yes the entire basketball issue was funny yet ridiculous. I'm just pointing out the reason why the people of the Philippines are so passionate about Pacquiao.
K.
I remember MLK running on a pro team back in the 60's, somebody criticizing his jumper, and somebody being fired and fined for it.
Said no one ever.
It's a hilarious, ridiculous story. I don't need a run down of Mannys reverence in the Philippines to have a fucking laugh at this.Comment
