they just are not willing to pay for it. Its 2015, no fight of this magnitude should not have testing.
Had Pascal said nothing, there would still be no testing.Comment

Pascal signed without testing, the end. Nothing else needs to be said.GUys did you read the tweets? Kathy asserted it was her right to choose the testing protocol since her guy is the champ. If she believes this, she should have exercised it up front. SHe didn't.
SHe sent the contract out without any testing in it. She was being cheap and trying to maximize her money.
I undertand the points being made about Pascal, but why is DUva getting a pass for being cheap. She could have avoided all of this up front.Comment

If her fighter wants it, why doesn't her fighter pay for it?She doesn't particularly want to do random testing, but IF random testing is to be done then she'll only accept VADA because that's what her fighter wants. It's not complicated. What's surprising (and su****ious) is Pascal's refusal to use the cheaper and more proven method. What makes you think Pascal would accept VADA if Duva offered to pay for it?
If you don't particularly care about testing then why do you particularly care about which agency does it?
If you do care about which agency does it, then why not pay for it?
I'm not saying Pascal would accept it. If he doesn't accept it then he'll look very suspect. So if you want to actually call his bluff, then offer to pay for VADA....it's cheap supposedly, no?
Right now Pascal just looks ******ed and Duva/Kovalev look like cheapskates with fake morals.Last edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 02-24-2015, 02:37 PM.Comment

Kovalev sent the contract over without testing in it, which is why it got signed without testing.
If you didn't want VADA when you made the fight, you don't need it now.
Kovalev should be mad at Duva, not pascal.Comment

Fake morals lol. Hey moron, Duva doesnt believe in this kind of adhoc testing. They offered to accommodate Pascal, despite him not asking for it before the contracts are signed. Thats above and beyond their duty. Vada is cheaper, more proven, whats the problem? If her fighter wants it, why doesn't her fighter pay for it?

Indeed. If Duva/Kovalev had just left it at that, then there wouldn't be this confusion. The contract is signed. Too late.
But now it's like "We want to prove to the world we're clean but only if someone else pays".
Sends out a pretty weird message.Comment

Weird? It's unconventional and rare to see that kind of ownage for sure. More like, they didn't really care from day 1, but since Pascal wanted to make a PR stunt, the bluff was called and he took a back seat since Memo doesn't let his fighters use VADA, which is suspect as hell in every sense.
Strange that people who appear guilty get special treatment, but eh, that's par for the course.Comment

Certainly didnt want Pascals Mickey Mouse testing either. So why bring it up after contracts signed?Comment

if you don't believe in it, then how can you have an opinion on which one is better?
Thats like saying you don't not believe in Monsters but then arguing Frankenstein is stronger than the Werewolf.
You can't have it both ways.Comment
