No, GGG probably wouldn't beat any of those guys. He lacks the competition to develop his talents to that degree.

    He might beat Hearns though

At this point you would have to pick Toney, RJJ, Hagler, and Hopkins over him. GGG hasn't faced the opposition for me to have enough analysis to say he confidently beats these guys.

I do however think Hearns is definitely possible. GGG has big power and Hearns could be stopped especially if he meets GGG at Middleweight. But of course he has power as an equalizer.

          did you forget leonard?
and duran (i would say durans too small to stand a chance, but who knows).
          my take:
vs toney, close, leaning towards toney.
          hagler, close, dont know.
          rjj ud over ggg!!!!! #rjjFanBoy
          ggg > hopkins
ggg hearns, this ones the most interesting to me. hearns has the image of a fragile chin, but he got KOed by pretty big punchers. and against srl, its 'cause his stamina wouldn't hold up.
but i think ggg's pressure will break hearns legs in this one.

and yeaaaaaaaaaa doe im ready to be **** on for giving ggg a chance in beating any of these guys.

when you see a straight up answer like this, you can easily ignore it.

Just doesn't belong in the same breath as those guys till his career is over and we see who beat him over the course of his career and how the guy or guys that beat him would stack up and what weaknesses he displayed along the way to better judge his fit among the best.

I see him losing to all of them at this point because they were proven greats, he still has to prove himself at two notches below first.

I could find guys one to two levels below in the annuls of time who I'm not sure I would favor him over because he has no one on his resume that is two levels below the aforementioned greats.

Yep. GGG has yet to defeat the level of competition that Hagler tore through, for example. The difference is enormous; GGG is a very talented fighter who suffers from a lack of meaningful competition. So it's really hard to say how good he is without proof.

Hagler would have murdered everyone GGG has fought. So would have Toney, RJJ and maybe Hearns -- who was probably the most vulnerable of the group offered by the OP. But also the most dangerous.

how does he not belong in the same category?
he dominated all the top fighters in the division (and quillin literally ducking him by telling him to move to 168, wat the ****). despite a weak division, he took them all out like no one else in the division has.
thats how A level fighters are made, dominating performances on B level fighters.
then A level fighters fight each other to see whos the best. no??

this guy is saying how does golovkin compare to them?? ur answer is: golovkin is a B class fighter.
                  WHAT???????
                  Come on.

Yeah. Check back when GGG knocks out a 26-0 Mugabi.

I mean, I like Murray and all, but.
