You still... just don't get it, do you? I'm not going to go over every time someone has "held a title hostage." You can get mad whenever it happens, I'm not telling you not to. I'm saying your energy is better spent elsewhere if you don't like that, if you choose not to that's a you problem not a me problem.
Why the disrespect to cotto?

Your serious response is I **** on LSC all the time? That guy is a ****ing joke, you better hate him. Cotto's fought Pac, Floyd, Mosley, Martinez, Margarito... before anyone else and all in "their" weightclass (minus Floyd.) Now, he's ducking someone that even SMW's are ducking and you compare that to LSC... You're the joke, seriously.Hey bro your stating your opinion there, I already know it. You pley these scenarios in your head, your fantasies aren't facts.
You guys are weird as ****. I **** on LSC all the time and he's mexican. Nationality has nothing to do here. Only in your sick mind everyone is like you. I'm done with both of you guys it's weird debating with people who're as emotionally attached to a fighter as you two are with cotto.Comment

I bring up LSC because the other weirdo brought up how I don't hate mexicans that do "keep the title hostage" which isn't true at all, I'm not comparing LSC to Cotto you reprehensible ******. See your problem, you always twist things in your sick obsessed mind.
Cotto is biding his time with the title to get a shot at a big money fight while the true MW champion has to keep on waiting. This deserves every single bit of criticism it's receiving.
Like I said, I'm done with you guys. It's weird.Comment

 I think that does have a lot to do with it. He took on Martinez at the time none of the other top names would. Everyone expected him to lose and he didn't.Comment

LOL WHAT? No one was ducking Martinez at that time. If by "other top names" you mean Floyd Mayweather, then yes. Floyd didn't want that fight. but not a single MW was ducking Sergio in 2014. lol lol lol
if anyone, sergio was doing the ducking. Cotto was supposed to be the safe option for him. HA!Comment

Yes, I was referring to Floyd. Martinez was calling out Cotto, Floyd, and Manny, knowing he would be the bigger man and thinking it was going to be easy. Sergio was dispatching all MW's that he was put up against, while also acknowledging GGG as the heir apparent at MW. He wanted the big money fights that he thought he could win (as well as everyone else). So it was a shock to a lot of people that Cotto dominated and stopped him.LOL WHAT? OK, well say that from the start. don't make it appear as if Sergio Martinez in 2014 was some sort of live dog that everyone was avoiding. Manny/Floyd would have taken the MW belt from him that night too. So would have a number of other 160lb fighters. Lara would have took that belt from him too.Yes, I was referring to Floyd. Look, you can spin it anyway you want to make it seem like it was public knowledge that Martinez was damaged goods. If Sergio was in as bad of condition as everyone is now making him out to be, you can be sure Floyd or Manny would have jumped at the opportunity to get the lineal MW title with relatively little risk. Obviously, they didn't and avoided Sergio. There is no denying that.OK, well say that from the start. don't make it appear as if Sergio Martinez in 2014 was some sort of live dog that everyone was avoiding. Now ask yourself, why didn't they take up the challenge? Both Floyd and Manny would have brought more money to the table for Sergio than Cotto did, but they did not answer the call. Everyone from experts down to fans assumed Martinez was too big, too strong, and too fast for all three of them. Cotto took the risk and reaped the reward. Now everyone is back tracking on their opinions and degrading the win, justifying their hate for Cotto.
The fact of the matter is, Sergio was too risky for any of the big money fighters to challenge. Cotto took the risk and deserves the credit for it. Had Floyd or Manny done the same, they'd be hailed as the GOAT.Comment
