That is exactly what I want. I am a fan of GGG. But I am a bigger fan of Ward. He does the Bay Area Proud. These things need to happen to Make Ward vs GGG a huge PPV. I want Ward being in the main event of a ppv on his resume and a PPV win on his resume. An achievement that has yet to be accomplished by a Bay Area Athlete. The last American to win a gold medal in boxing. And he fights out of Oakland. Cain Velazquez doesn't count.
Cotto needs a good proponent for June...GGG is free

Cotto will fight Bradley in June and then either Mayweather or Canelo in September, whoever offers him the most cash. If Floyd fights a 2nd time this year, I expect it to be Cotto's next fight after Bradley because Floyd will want Mexican Independence Day weekend and it will be the only fight for Floyd that would outdo Canelo-Cotto. Floyd is also able to offer Cotto more cash and a bigger legacy fight.
People should be rooting for this scenario because Floyd would immediately vacate the lineal title, and Golovkin could fight Quillin to reestablish the lineage.Comment

Bro why are obsessed with PPV? PPV is the reason this sport is dead in our country. No one wants to pay $50-75 to watch a fight, and no one should. PPV should be exterminated. That is exactly what I want. I am a fan of GGG. But I am a bigger fan of Ward. He does the Bay Area Proud. These things need to happen to Make Ward vs GGG a huge PPV. Good for athletes and promoters, horrible for fans. Drives fans away from the sport. NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL thrive on broadcast TV. How is a young kid going to get into boxing when all good fights are on subscription TV and all great fights are on PPV?Comment

What's with this "seriously"/"serious"/"handily" business? You know that this is prize fighting? And, your legacy takes in account mental weakness (which Cotto has in spades). You don't have a seperate column for fights you didn't take seriously, or "over trained" for. It's one plain old column called LOSSES.
Btw Cotto barely survived that last Margarito fight. Kudos for not quitting that time.
He's my least favorite fighter because he's a heartless chumpComment
