Cotto should drop back to 154, I think that the only reason he hold to that title was to lure Floyd to a fight. We all know that he is to small for real 160 pounders.
Cotto will fight Bradley in June and then either Mayweather or Canelo in September, whoever offers him the most cash. If Floyd fights a 2nd time this year, I expect it to be Cotto's next fight after Bradley because Floyd will want Mexican Independence Day weekend and it will be the only fight for Floyd that would outdo Canelo-Cotto. Floyd is also able to offer Cotto more cash and a bigger legacy fight.
People should be rooting for this scenario because Floyd would immediately vacate the lineal title, and Golovkin could fight Quillin to reestablish the lineage.

The problem is, Cotto's goal was to set a record by winning the MW championship. His goal is not to defend it against a legitimate MW contender, though.
