Subsequent to his win over Nonito Donaire, various big names have been mentioned as possible rivals, Carl Frampton, Leo Santa Cruz and Scott Quigg, among others. Caribe Promotions, based in Miami is currently Rigondeaux's sole promoter. Its leader is currently planning out ‘El Chacal’s’ next move.

The problem with not having a promoter is that a promoter will not want to risk his star against a guy that he has no control over. We'll see how being independent works out for Rigo and Caribe.

Stop the complaining , when is Rigo fighting ? Whom is he fighting ? That's your job as a promoter .
Nobody wants to fight him but you as a promoter must get him fights , it is on you and Gary Hyde . Nobody will give you a free ride , promote him and get him fights .

wbc and all the white fans seem to really be pushing GGG to get his WBC shot..and the WBC oblidged...but ole rigo still has to sit back and watch leo fight TBA's...this is one reason i really dont care for GGG..he's being carried when he doesnt have to be..he is a great fighter no doubt, bur rigo has done more and cotto has done more than leo so how is GGG's situation justified and rigo's is not?? HBO! THATS HOW

Rigo needs a heavy hitter in his corner. He left Top Rank but had no backup plan. Look at what having Haymon did for Lara. He won a title, headlined a PPV, gets dates on ShowTime and is supposedly in the running for the Cotto fight.

Caribe needs to accept a buyout from somebody that can actually get Rigo fights and airtime. They can no longer do anything for him.

rigo is the getting the biggest raw deal in boxing today..he is ducked by fighters , networks, and organizations

and his last fight was more entertaining that leo's and GGG's put together
