I like Lara, and I think this could be an interesting fight, but given how he performed against Canelo I can't see him winning this. He won't take enough risks.
Golovkin cuts the ring off far better than Canelo, and hits a lot harder as well. Lara's desire/need for space and unwillingness to work in the pocket gives you the impression that he'll just be on his bicycle without ever throwing enough shots to actually win rounds.
But maybe not. Golovkin's handspeed isn't amazing and maybe Lara would feel like he could counter and disrupt him in a way that wasn't possible against Canelo. It would take a marathon type running effort to keep Golovkin off him but with the right timing for his own attacks, he could finish a majority of the rounds having landed the cleaner shots.
I doubt this would happen to be honest, but I think it would be interesting to see how Golovkin handles that style.
