I'm a Lara fan,but he gets stopped in 6. Angulo was able to keep him on the ropes all night ans drop him twice. Golovkin is head and shoulders above angulo in power, technique, cutting off the ring, and even defense. The moment that Lara gets against the ropes, and puts his earmuffs on,golovkin is going to hit him with a body shot so strong, that Lara is going to know exactly how his own liver tastes.

Does Alfredo Angulo ring a bell? GGG would run lara out of the ring. Lara already throws very few punches. He would probably throw 3 punches max against GGG just so he can run away from that ****ing animal.

It doesn't matter how better a boxer he is than murray. Murray is a tough son of a gun that can take a shot. Lara does not have that mentality and durability. GGG would just walk all over him.

Lara is to Golovkin what Dirrell is to Kovalev... The running man would get walked down, timed & brutally stopped against the bigger punching, naturally bigger fighter! It would look similar to Tszyu v Judah... Lara is like many talented Cubans, he can't pull the trigger! Sort of a poor mans Oscar D H...

His handlers would be wise not to make this fight because he's simply not ready. Put him against Heiland/Jacobs/Johnson.

Lara gets walked down, broken down, and KO'd by GGG without trouble. Angulo's slow ass walked him down and nearly had him out twice. GGG finishes him with ease.

I agree. However Monroe's handlers are inept. They kept him on the shelf for 7 months after winning the Boxcino tournament only to return him back to ESPN against a shot Vera. It's a shame that Monroe, Johnson, Heiland aren't ready for GGG and yet those are 3 of the top candidates for his May fight. On top of that Golovkin would get no credit for beating those guys.

Everyone else is either tied up with another fight or a Haymon fighter. Johnson was on twitter talking about being confirmed by HBO as a top candidate, but seriously what could he do against Golovkin? He's a pressure fighter like Daniel Geale but with less power. Heiland has that KO over Macklin, but he had like 11 KO's in 24 fights. If I was forced to pick one of those 3 to fight GGG it'd be Monroe.

Lara would be the best GGG has fought yet.

Monroe is slick but I doubt he could withstand that kind of pressure for 12 rounds.
