How is it not a meaningful fight? You don't think Guerrero is a key player at 147??

Beating Guerrero and Chaves still doesn't make you hot property. I'll happily eat my words if he goes onto beat a Maidana or Porter on top of Ghost but until then I'm not jumping onto any bandwagon.

I think that when Guerrero checks that chin, Thurman is going to hit the deck. Will he recover or will he quit? That is the crux of the fight for me.

Well, since you put it like that, (it is more meaningful now) than if the self proclaimed best ever were fighting him.

We get the fight without a hefty ppv bill.

The Ghost went twelve with Floyd.

Because of the above this is a big deal for a up n up One Time.

Of course bad fights happen, he had one pitching a shutout. And that fight was no bigger than those previously on a big network. It was however, his 1st fight after a long layoff due to surgery. Nice try though.

He will probably scamper away, win some rounds scampering, then say after the fight that you can't ko everyone.

I think he's quicker than the Ghost so he can maintain distance, pot shot and get the ud while being called Erislandy Thurman by the writers at ringside like last time.

                  Thurman ud 116-112

It was bigger. It was at the MGM on a big card and he got booed out of the building. The excuses are nice but you need to deliver when you're given that chance especially for a guy like Thurman who is desperate to get noticed and got all hyped on the microphone the night before claiming he would KO Mayweather n ****.
