Mayweather just couldn't make the weight. Guess what though...... Pacquiao thought he was getting the same Marquez Floyd got and that's why he fought him at the same weight as Floyd. Guess what again? The Marquez that knocked Manny head off don't want it with Mayweather.
Floyd came back but took another ducking vacation to get away from Pacquiao.
Pacquiao cleaned housed.Comment

Yet remember all the backlash over bradley's poster for his rematch with Pacquaio. If you are going to have a moment to pull a fast one on the public perhaps advertising a chance for a second fight wouldn't be the best of strategies. Regardless of the outcome of the fight on may 2nd there will be a rematch, too much money to be made. Both men stand to make nearly half a billion dollars if not more from a trilogy.Comment

Your response is no different than when white **********s get accused of racism when they slam *****. I guess you learn from the best dodgers. But, your sig is clearly racially motivated by aiming at a specific group.Comment

Floyd already got what he wanted, he parlayed that zero loses into a fantastic bargaining chip for himself. Which is pretty genius itself. There isn't much left at this point but to cash out. The whole Marciano thing is overrated because if you look at how it's received throughout the decades it's a mixed bag of praise and criticism. Him going 50 and 0 would be a great marketing thing too but I don't think it would make him as wealthy as a trilogy. You also have to take into account the amount of people who will not want to see him break that record and toss in those who would love nothing more than to take away Haymon's trump card. I think the sheer amount of money to be made off this fight and potentially any rematches is too great for someone out there to not already be looking to cash in big time. I don't honestly care who wins but i'm not naive that both boxers are at risk of having their performances overshadowed by the house looking to win at the end of the day.Comment

Winning a lineal strap and cleaning out a division aren't the same thing. Didn't Floyd win the lineal WW strap from Baldomir back when Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, Williams, etc were welters and it was arguably the best division in Boxing?Comment

To be fair to Pac by the time he fought Margarito NO ONE was picking against him. He was considered "unbeatable" and could only be beat by himself. It was even an often repeated joke amongst commentators that "anyone who has a belt" will feel terrified; heck they were even throwing in Klitschkos' names in there.
It was way different when he was coming up essentially a career superfeather told to jump up to welter to face a career middleweight Oscar.Comment
