Another brainless fool who believes the brainless myth. He was never a power puncher or KO artist at 147. Go look at his record at 147. He had to bee sting Oscar to death and the Cotto fight was a cumulative stoppage. Using drama queen CAP's in your writing is not helping push out your mindless drivel.

I remember the Tyson and Lewis fight, Lewis jabbed and straight Tyson all day at his range, as soon as Tyson got close, Lewis locked him, leaned on him and tired him out. Soon the ref break, rinse and repeat till Tyson went down. That is what Pac is facing.

Wow a lot of people are going to be eating crow after this fight! Unless it becomes a boring fight that goes to the judges in a discretionary manner. That might well be what happens.

There are so many intangibles in this fight. madianna is a lot bigger than Manny and a lot more ackward. Floyd has lost a step...has manny?

I think that if Manny want to win he has to really risk losing big. Thats a relative problem for Manny. He has to find a way to put Floyd on the defensive and not let Floyd set. Floyd, on the other hand, can win potshotting. Giving a boxer of Floyd's calibre the reach advantage is a real thing to overcome. Manny has to make it ugly and go after Floyd consistantly.

If both guys play it safe then the saga could well continue.

Manny Pacquiao has great movement. Can't see him allowing Mayweather to tie him up.

I can't see why Mayweather would need to tie him up. He only did that against Maidana to keep him from throwing rabbit punches, low blows and elbows. He tied Guerrero and Hatton up to keep them from using their patented holding and hitting tactic. Those are tactics that Pacquiao does not employ. The only way Mayweather would need to tie Pacquiao up is if Pacquiao catches him with a good shot that hurts him like Shane Mosely did.

I'd probably end up having a heart attack tho, if it turns out to be that kind of fight. The best thing that could happen is pac wins the first 3 or 4 rounds because that's about how long it takes for Floyd to figure dudes out, and then picks up the pace because he's behind in the score Cards. I would love for Floyd to be the aggressor And actually be more offensive. It's not his game but I think they both know, their legacies are on their line here, therefore I think both will try to impress and give their all. Both are warriors in their own way. May the best man win!!

why this is such an interesting fight:
-Floyd is naturally bigger, taller and has 5 inch reach advantage. He has superior ring iq and possibly the best reflexes in the game. I believe he has the power to hurt pac but not with one punch. His counter punching is second to none along with his accuracy, and obviously defense. Best defensive fighter of ALL time. However Floyd needs to UP his work rate and punch out put to win this fight. I could see pac outworking him with volume punching even if most of them don't hit. People will go nuts with every flurry pac throws.
-On the other hand, Floyd has not fought anyone in a very long time with the speed combined with descent power of pac. Pac is very tricky and awkward. Very hard to get prepared for someone like pac. His weird angles and southpaw style will be a problem for Floyd in my opinion. Floyd won't be used to the speed of them punches coming at him, so it will take a few rounds to adjust. Pac is very explosive so he can catch Floyd with some thing( this is boxing, afterall. Anything can happen). Pacs footwork is also elite, but I do question if he could cut off the ring against floyd. If not, he's in for a long night. And I think pacs overall down fall will be that, he has no inside game what so ever and I could see $$ roughing him up and smothering him.
two more months guys, and all speculations and questions will be answered. Can't fking wait!
he couldnt even cut the ring off vs mosley lol... pac wil have his moments.. but when it becomes a thinking mans match pac will lose.

I dont see Pac winning at all.

This isnt the fight we all wanted. This is more like Leonard - Duran 3. Both clearly past their best.

Pacquiao's footwork will win him the fight.

Floyd's legs are shot. He doesn't want to use them in the ring anymore.

Ugh, did you see the Canelo fight? Granted Pac's footwork and movement is a trillion times better than Canelo's but Floyd moved in and out all night without a single problem. To say his legs are shot is absolutely ridiculous.

Well they certainly aren't the same.
