The fight was lackluster, seemed like neither wanted to win with a exclamation mark! They both were happy to just try to win round by round the safe way.

Floyd came to fight . Had many done same, you'd have seen that.

Manny should've studied Castillo, hatton, chop chop, zab or Maidana. Instead he studied and copied Canelo.

Come on dude, hold Manny accountable.
Oh, no doubt, Pacquiao didn't go all out, I said that before. But neither did Mayweather. You seem to be laying the lack of excitement soley at Manny's feet. Put it like this, if you had been one of the cats who paid thousands to go to Vegas to see the fight, would you feel that you got your money's worth from BOTH fighters?

Like I said in another thread..

THE WORLD WANTS TO SEE THE Pacquiao vs Mayweather, the rematch, the actual fight. After so much waiting we didnt get to see it because Pacquiao was injured fighting at 40% with one arm. Let Pac have surgery, heal and lets see the actual fight. Nobody counts last Saturday and has forgotten about it because it doesnt count.

Celebrities after fight were all tweeting "damn wish pac was healthy.. i stil think he won. fighting with one arm injured #respect" and tweets like that. So much money for a fight where Pac was at 40%. We need to see the actual fight with both fighters at a 100% and medically cleared.

If I was a casual fan that got most of my info from ESPN, then yes I would.

I'm a boxing fan. we know who didn't fight like we expected. You, DSG, bodiesinflight, none of you expected Floyd to fight any differently. You also didn't expect Manny to either and that's why you gave him a chance to win.

Only one guy didn't do what diehard fans thought he would Had Manny fought the way he fought clottey, Margs, cotto, or JMM, then we wouldn't be having this debate.

Styles make fights. The volume puncher didn't punch in volume. How you can hold the counter puncher accountable for that is beyond me.

Denial, ignorance, ******ity, just to name a few.

At the end of the day, Floyd was Floyd. Hell, Floyd was better than the Floyd we expected. However, the Manny Pac that the media created didn't show up. The Manny Pac that was supposed to destroy Floyd didn't show up. The Manny Pac that was supposed to pressure Floyd until forcing him to quit didn't show up.

In fact the Manny Pac that showed up lost worse than all of Mayweather's opposition dating back to 2009. To Pac's credit (the little he has left after all these cowardly excuses) he didn't lose as bad as JMM did. He should chalk that up as a win, shut his mouth and go home, he has his entire country to revamp.

Exactly. I don't know how anyone can call it differently. The narrative was Floyd fights easy cherry picked opposition who can't possibly beat him. He was forced to fight a guy whose volume punching would make him make mistakes.

In the end, he fought like Canelo-happy to get a check and hopeful some of Floyd's "magic" would rub off on him.

I expect boxing fans to hold him accountable.
