Well it's 1pm in the UK and I'm sure we have Pacquiao fans over here who swore blind Pac would dominate. Jas etc. where are they?

    • Its really sad to me that the judges had it so lopsided...Our two warring factions which I believe we are not allowed to mention but the pac fans and the floyd fans should both be confidant that this fight was not a boxing lesson. both guys had moments. There was a time in the fight where Pac hit Floyd twice with quick straight lefts and I thought he would knock him down after all...and there were so many rounds were Floyd controlled that space of engagement with a great jab and counter shots so beautifully....

I think this fight was closer than the judges had it imo.

Neither guy dominated, Floyd used his legs and fast jab to win a boring marathon while still getting rocked two or three times by the guy who was supposed to be easy work.

Floyd fans acting like Manny got schooled but in reality Floyd respected him too much to try and put too much pressure on. Not once in this fight did Floyd take over, control space yes, take over and dismantle Pac, no way, not even close.

Just sing in tone, make it heartfelt and memeorize the words...Damn Jamie!!
I saw someone mention how you never hear any other country's anthem changed as often as the American anthem. All these jackasses think they can change it to something better.

          • While not very competitive, it was an amazing thing to watch Floyd's defensive tactics completely neutralize Manny Pacquiao's offense. Great work.

Sucks for casual audiences who wanted Rocky, but its their own fault for dropping the cash on a Mayweather fight and expecting as much. Ridiculous. Boxing will do just fine without "fans" like those.

What fight did you watch? Floyd totally dominated this fight and schooled Pacquiao. I gave Pacquiao two rounds 118-110 Mayweather.

                • i had it 10-2 or 9-3. i'll score it again when it's repeated at 2pm. in some rounds mayweather didn't do much, but he still managed to do more than an utterly frustrated pacquiao. it was a supremely effective performance, but not the beautiful boxing that we used to see from the mayweather of old. he looked the same fighter to me as he did in the maidana rematch - a past-prime master who is still smart enough to win but not athletic enough to wow us any more. re. pacquiao, i don't take this performance as a sign that he has significantly physically deteriorated, just that he only looks great within a rather narrow range of circumstances; mayweather simply has his number and always has done.

yeah i have no sympathy for anyone b*tching about the result of the fight. it's their own fault for buying into the media narrative about pacquiao and floyd. hopefully they've learnt a lesson
