Yeah, I know I said it about this fight a few times.

It's funny, the threads (Mayweather vs Pacquiao) used to be a lot more active. People talking about how ''Pacquiao will do this and that", or "Mayweather is a duck, and Mayweather is a fraud." Now that the fight has been signed off, silence.

The place certainly has a tentative air about it. I should imagine that there's a good number of posters on here that are a little apprehensive now that the fight has been signed. I dare say that on one level some wish that it hadn't have been. They've invested too much, and the opposing fans aren't gonna let it lie when their man gets beaten.

It reminds me a little of when Liverpool lost to Chelsea in the European Cup semi final. I lived in Liverpool at the time and the prevailing mood amongst the Scousers was relief. When it came down to it they had no faith that they'd beat Manchester United had they of gotten through, and the thought of losing to them in the final of the European Cup was unbearable.

I realised then that for a lot of fans it's just words. They don't actually believe what they've been saying. They'd like to but they don't. It's more about oneupmanship. Their game is about to end.

Lol. I'm just asking because I read his interview. He talks about being the bigger, stronger, rangier fighter. I can see this fight playing out like the Judah fight where he's walking him down and imposing his will on him.
